Online group sessions on Thursdays or Fridays

Register no later than May 12 (with your VIS-ID) on the training page of your preference.

Please note: You can only participate in one teacher training per VIS project.

Participants in previous rounds of these trainings have found that the training increased the understanding of the main components and challenges of virtual international collaboration.

Read what this teacher shared with us about their participation in a previous round:

“It was an exceptional experience to be a student again. It sensitized me to the challenges it brings such as weekly class attendance commitments, preparing in advance, the importance of a student friendly [learner platform] that houses logically flowing content in a consistent way.  I also experienced the powerful role of synchronous and asynchronous peer discussions. The pedagogical tips to add impact to our VIS projects were useful, especially as it was used to stimulate discussions during our weekly Zoom sessions. For me, sharing our experiences was one of the most powerful aspects of this training. I applaud you for compiling a group of participants that all had vastly different experience we could learn from. “
