VIS Community of Practice

Registration is closed.

Learn from each other in the Community of Practice (November 20th)

In this session, you can discuss challenges in your VIS project with fellow VISsers or reflect on your previously completed VIS project.

The session will be held on November 20 from 15.00 – 17.00 and is for you to:

  • Discuss any of your challenges;
  • Get support from peers & experts;
  • learn from challenges and best practices shared by peers.

The discussions in this session will be guided by experts in Virtual Exchange.

  • Exchange success stories
  • Learn from each other’s mistakes
  • Spar about challenges and opportunities

They should make this mandatory for all people awarded a VIS project. Super useful to think with each other, bring in a case study of your own, and above all exchange with each other.

What can you expect?

The session focuses on addressing challenges and celebrating successes from the VIS projects. Participants will learn from each other’s experiences, discussing obstacles such as conflicting expectations between collaborating institutions and integrating VIS projects into curricula. There is also an opportunity to highlight positive moments, identify key success factors, and apply these insights to future projects. The discussions will be tailored to the participants’ needs, allowing them to explore questions and tap into the collective expertise of the group.

More information

Community of Practice meetings are intended for all teachers and support staff, who are involved in a VIS project. In these meetings, under the guidance of a moderator (a supervisor with ample VIS experience) and an intervision leader, teachers and educationists work together on themes. As participants, you bring in questions and exchange information and knowledge among yourselves on topics related to VIS projects.
